Dr. Michelle Chen

Dr Michelle Chen is the newest addition of dentists to the PDG family.

As a general dentist, she is comfortable treating patients of all ages, meaning she can care for you and your entire family.

Growing up in India, she was inspired to become a dentist by her mother who is a dentist there. In 2012, she came to the USA in an exchange program through Rotary International. During that time, she had the opportunity to shadow several dental specialists. That was when she decided to pursue dentistry in the US.

Dr Chen trained in dental technology in Los Angeles and pursued her advanced training in general dentistry from Universidad de la Salle Bajío in León, Mexico. Before joining PDG, Dr Chen was the lead dentist at a corporate dental office in Santa Rosa.

Dr. Chen values advanced education and is always furthering her education to best serve her patients. This is one of the reasons she is excited to be a part of Petaluma Dental Group, with advanced technologies at her fingertips. She is also a member of the ADA, CDA and the Marin County Dental Society which keeps her up to date with the latest in dentistry advancements.

On her days off, Dr. Chen loves to spend time with her family. She stays very busy with her two adorable small children, 3 years old and her youngest who is 4 months.

FUN FACT: Dr. Chen is a polyglot!

She speaks FOUR languages. Since she has lived in several countries, she is fluent in Hindi, Gujarati, Spanish and English!
