Dr. Alfred Li

Dr. Alfred Li is a proud Bay Area native dedicated to creating beautiful, healthy smiles in the community he’s always called home. Raised in San Francisco, Dr. Li combines his excellent orthodontic training with a deep-rooted commitment to the families and neighborhoods of the Bay Area.

Dr. Li attended college at the University of California Berkeley where he studied Molecular and Cell Biology. He then obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine, where he discovered his love for orthodontics. During his training, Dr. Li served as the class president and graduated at the top of his class while earning several awards and scholarships for demonstrating academic and clinical excellence.

After earning his dental degree, Dr. Li returned to the Bay Area to pursue advanced training in orthodontics along with a Masters of Science degree in Oral and Craniofacial Biology at the University of California San Francisco. While training at UCSF, he focused on modern techniques in traditional braces, Invisalign, and dentofacial orthopedics and successfully treated a variety of complex cases.

Known for his approachable demeanor and personalized treatment plans, Dr. Li has helped many patients, from children to adults, achieve lasting, confident smiles. He is especially passionate about supporting the local community and building long-term relationships with the families he serves.

Dr. Li enjoys living in the Bay Area for its ethnic and cultural diversity, vision for sustainability, and access to outdoor activities. Outside the office, you will often find him exercising, cheering on local sports teams, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Li is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the California Dental Association. He has also been invited to lecture at UCSF to teach the next generation of dentists and orthodontists.
